Sponsors
All websites come with a place to upload the sponsors for your event. Organizations or events that have a large number of sponsors have asked for a different way to present those to their participants rather than just showing a large number of them down the left hand side of the website. We’ve updated the options for sponsors to give a bit more flexibility and added a “neat” effect for them as well.
Now, you can indicate how many you’d like to show on the left and link to the rest of your sponsors which will display them on your sponsors page. Clicking on each sponsor will show a “flipping” effect where the sponsor image will flip over and display the name of the sponsor and a link to their page on the back of the “card”. In the image below, 2 of the sponsors have been clicked on, so the name and link appear.
Background Images
We recently made some adjustments to our “Upload Background” page. You can now customize your website even more by uploading background images of your choosing. We always had this to some extent, but the new screen gives you a few more options.
You can choose to:
- Upload a large image that just appears at the top center of the page
- Upload a small image that will repeat horizontally and vertically on the page.
- Upload an image that repeats only horizontally across the top of the screen.
- Upload an image that repeats vertically starting from the top center of the screen
Clicking ‘Upload background’ will take you to the new screen so you can upload these different types of background images.
Communication is Key!
The key to successfully managing an event is to keep your participants informed in a timely manner. In a manual system that can be an impossible task. Not only do you have to deal with filtering whom to contact, but also tracking who has been contacted, when and for what purpose. We have enhanced our mail system, sincMail, to do all the work for you!
Of course, we’ve kept the ability to search, sort and filter to select the teams you need to contact. Our most recent addition to help you manage the messages you send out is our brand new sincMail page. This page will allow you to track all of the emails you send out from your sincSports website. View all the messages you’ve sent out, filter them by team, or even filter them by individual. We also track which people have read your message so you can check to see if they were received.
You can get to your sincMail page by going to your team list page, clicking on “Tools,” and then the button for “View Mail Log.”
- View all recipients of an email
- View all emails sent to a particular team
- View all emails sent to a particular person
Promote your event
Reaching your potential customers is a must. Our tournament package includes 2 invitations at no additional cost: an invitation, and a reminder email. For events where college coaches will be attending for recruiting purposes, we also send out an invitation to college coaches and allow them to register to attend.
These are unique invitations that promote your event only, link directly to your application page and are targeted to teams that are the appropriate age in your region of the country. We certainly don’t believe in sending out a list of events – that happens to include yours. (Perhaps when Coca Cola starts sending out a list of all the competing sodas that are available to highlight other options for their customers, we will change our direction.)
Power without the price
We are accustomed to paying a big price for power. At sincSports we are working to make sure that’s not the case. We’ve always priced our product to make sure it is very affordable and the best value in the industry. (Which is amazing for a product that offers many times the functionality of any of our competitors. Of course, that’s why we are close to becoming the most used tournament software in the country as more and more leagues and tournaments are switching to the sincSports package).
Our goal is to see that our menus and online help system stand on their own. That’s why even new league and tournament directors without computer expertise are telling us that our package is helping them feel like “pros” that have been running events for years.
The screen that directors spend most of their time on to manage teams, contacts and communications, is a powerful command center. We’ve enhanced the screen to make it cleaner, more organized and EASY TO USE. Each function has its own help pop-up so even directors that manage one event a year don’t have to worry about remembering any of the processes. Everything you need is right at your finger tips.
We are going to make sure you are successful, relaxed and look darn good doing it!
You can even click “Tools” and use the Panel Defaults button to decide how you want your page to look. You can have the team counts and any of the four control panels on or off by default each time you enter the screen.
